In 2020, a group of friends began congregating in their homes after most churches in BC were shutting down. They started watching Sunday morning services at Good News Chapel Montreal. Soon, friends started inviting their friends, and their Sunday morning gatherings grew. After a few weeks, they decided to reach out to GNC Montreal and boldly ask for them to start a church plant in British Columbia. After speaking with the Senior Pastor, Stefano Gesualdi, and with much prayer and fasting, GNC Montreal decided that they would officially expand and start their first church plant in BC. Within a few months, the church plant went from a home family room to congregating in an elementary school gym. The church continued to grow, as many new faces attended each week, but the people needed a point of contact-they needed a shepherd on site. Meanwhile, the Lord began breaking the hearts of Pastors Oscar and Melanie Sosa for the people of British Columbia. On December 1st 2022, they relocated their family to province of British Columbia and have been pastoring ever since.
